Hey Sue...I think his name was Trattos. Right? I only know this because he lives right down the street and every lawn job in the neighborhood must have been done by one of my friends according to my parents.
I was in Ms. Castori's biology class w/ Stephanie Johnson. Totally remember that moment.
Yes thank you Mr. Trattos!! That is exaclty who it was... Leo was actually driving the car!!! I think we then went to the senior lawn and tore that up too!! All Leo's idea ;)
I remember that day, it was my birthday. I was sitting in Geometry class when the announcement came over the classroom speaker system. I have no idea who I was sitting behind, but I was sitting in front of Leslie Murrell and to the right of Dave Araldi.
Wow! I was walking from auto shop to ROTC, just in front of the gym, when the school staff anounced the tradgedy over th p.a. I stood there in awe for a minute thinking about how many people had just died. Harold Jacobus
Temple, I was with you in Mr. Jordan's English class. When he announced it, I replied, "Ya right!" "That's impossible." When his facial expression didn't change, I felt sick to my stomach.

I remember he walked in and announced it before the PA announcement. His tone made me think at first it was some sort of joke.
