i must preface this by saying two things. one: i was a dork, so i liked a lot of my teachers! two: i had to pull my yearbook out to remember any of their names (with the exception of davis, eisner, jordan and geri).
liked: mr. davis (even though he tried to pimp his son out to almost all of his female students!) mrs. enroth mrs. (madame) eisner mr. geri! mr. jordan! (he was cute back in the day) mr. laskey mr. smith mr. summerhays
disliked/dreaded: mrs. kohler mr. kawahata (the MOST condescending gym teacher ever) mrs. parish mrs. reardon
Mr. Imm was great...lost count of how many times he let us have pizza delivered to class. I liked my Algebra teacher but I can't think of his name. He passed me because I would come to class when Sue, Brian & Ty would all cut and go to the lake. He was on to you kids!!! Was it McCullough?! Hmmm...
Mr. Keeler rocked!! Our class voted him to deliver the graduation commencement speech. I still crack up when I think about his antics, he made history and government classes so fun.
Lots of teachers were great but I really liked Mr. Geri. I felt like he treated us as if we were college students. Only one teacher makes the list of those I did not like, Mr. Filpula (sp?). For those of you who had him, I'm sure you remember the awful stench of cigarette smoke that lingered wherever he walked. Just thinking about it makes me want to puke!
I agree with Stephanie, Mr. Geri seemed to have the most respect for us. I loved the books he had us read and hardly ever cut his class. As for worst, Mr. Cavalero gets my vote. I loved how he would talk down to the girls in his class and offer extra credit to them if they kept the wrestling stat books. UHG!
Mr. Geri was my favorite. I didn't mind Mr. Jordan although he tried too hard to be cool. I really didn't like Mrs. Parish. I think my math nightmares all started with her.
I couldn't stand Mr.Davis - he was the basketball coach that coulda cared less about math or knew anything about it. I thougt it was great not to have to do anything in his class, until I had to retake Algebra twice! My Imm was my favorite! Brian Hall, Ty, Sue & I had many fun times in there..... Shawn Reed
I just remembered one time in Spanish Mrs. Brito had a breakdown. I think I was arguing with her and she got really pissed off and cried or left the room or something?! Something weird. I know Scott "Estaban" Shavey and Dave "Da-beed" Roth were in there...maybe they remember. That's also when Scott was really into weight training and always dressed like the Unibomber with a hooded sweatshirt. Other things that have resurfaced - being a freshman and being blown away by the fact a few older girls in the front row did lines in science class. AND if that weren't bad enough, someone put acid in one of my teachers coffee...I think that was typing class?! Jeeze!
I remember Shavey in that outfit and I also remember he would sit with a trash can next to him and spit in it the whole class time so he would not gain weight because he was trying to make weight for wrestilng...Oh memories and Shavey if you read this you had dedication I admire that....

That was suppose to read Mr. Imm, not my Imm!
I am suprised that Mrs. Anderson has not been mentioned, and Mr. McCullough and Mr. Smith (Math Teacher) have barely been mentioned.
They were all tough, but likeable and fair to their students.

One needs only to send an invitation to the teachers ie MR Geri and they will attend. Mr Geri says he has never received an invite.
mr. geri, is that you in the above comment? :)
seriously, though, i know mr. davis and mr. jordan are still teaching, but how would we track down retired teachers (like mr. geri)???
